Generalist Writer for AI Quality Evaluation

Role Overview

Apply professional writing and analytical expertise to evaluate written content and AI-generated responses, helping improve the accuracy, reliability, and overall performance of next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, coherence, completeness, and overall quality.
• Compare outputs against detailed instructions, guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Provide clear, actionable written feedback that is precise, consistent, and objective.
• Identify discrepancies, ambiguities, factual issues, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
• Document findings using provided evaluation tools, guidelines, and reporting formats.

Qualifications

• Native US English speaker with exceptional grammar, syntax, tone, and written communication skills.
• Experience in professional writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or another writing-intensive role.
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to spot subtle inconsistencies and errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, follow detailed instructions, and apply evaluation criteria consistently across a high volume of work.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver concise, constructive feedback.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Remote, open to candidates located in the United States and Western Europe.
• Immediate start required.
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week throughout the engagement.

Compensation

• $40 to $50 per hour.
