We're not just building software—we're shaping the future of care for aging populations, with humanity and precision at the core.The Accounting Manager will execute and continuously improve corporate accounting operations and support key financial reporting activities. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in both doing the work and building better ways to do it. This role is hybrid, with office located in Austin.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting and analyticsMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across all accountsManage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedulesSupport sales tax filings, annual reports and other compliance obligationsOwn expense reporting, corporate credit cards, and accounts payable; serve as the primary system administrator for related third-party softwareSupport annual audits working with external auditors and tax advisorsPrepare financial schedules and supporting analysisWork with internal partners on vendor managementIdentify and implement process and system improvements that increase accuracy, reduce manual intervention, reduce close timeline and enhance reportingBuild and maintain scalable workflows as we growRequirements· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or tech environments· Strong understanding of US GAAP; experience with business combinations a plus· Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software; NetSuite preferred· A process-improvement mindset-you don't just do the work, you ask how it could be done better and make it happen· Ability to thrive in a small team where you wear multiple hats and operate with autonomy· Strong ownership, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities· An AI adoption mindset, always looking for ways to leverage new tools to reduce manual work and improve accuracy· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
