Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting elementary students as a full-time speech-language pathologist. This contract position spans 35 hours per week and offers two available openings. Professionals will primarily serve an elementary caseload and may be scheduled to split their week between two school sites. The role is entirely onsite and provides a collaborative atmosphere with opportunities for experienced clinicians and recent graduates alike.
Qualifications we seek:
- Valid CT speech-language pathology license
- SLP-CCC certification strongly preferred; confident Clinical Fellows also considered (district will provide supervision, albeit with limited bandwidth)
- Prior school-based experience is required
- Candidates must complete district-specific fingerprinting and background checks
- Ability to work onsite 35 hours weekly, across elementary grade levels
- SLPAs will not be considered at this time
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and tracking student progress
- Collaborating closely with school staff, administration, and caregivers to support student development
- Managing a caseload potentially split between two nearby elementary campuses
- Utilizing clinical expertise daily while prioritizing student communication outcomes
Licensed professionals holding their SLP-CCC and those presenting as Clinical Fellows—with a supervisor available—are welcome to apply. Advance licensing in CT is a plus, as is familiarity with required documentation. Zoom interviews offer a convenient onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth and timely placement process.
