Using state-of-the-art WaterJet and CNC machinery, the company designs and fabricates a wide range of metal products, from handrails and water walls to kitchen décor, gates, and signage. Team members collaborate on unique, often technically complex designs that require precision and craftsmanship. The company operates in multiple Florida locations, including Miami, Orlando, and Sarasota. Role Description The Steel Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sarasota, FL. This role is responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings and detailed plans for steel structures and custom metal components, ensuring all specifications align with project requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural drawings, coordinating with project managers and fabrication teams, and producing clear, buildable details for fabrication and installation. The Steel Detailer collaborates closely with engineers, designers, and shop personnel to resolve technical issues, optimize fabrication processes, and maintain consistency across projects. The role also involves updating documentation, maintaining version control, and supporting quality checks to ensure that all deliverables meet safety and performance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Steel Detailing and Steel Structures for creating precise fabrication and installation details.
- Candidates should possess skills in Shop Drawings and Architectural Drawings for interpreting project requirements and producing accurate construction documents.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with CAD or detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor, Tekla) and basic knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. xhyhwjd
