Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing staff. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, other nursing staff, residents, families, and various departments to provide individualized nursing care in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. This position requires compliance with a dress code of Caribbean Blue scrubs.

Position Qualifications

• California licensed nurse with good physical and mental health.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to perform manual skills required for patient care, including walking, bending, and lifting.
• Good mental health, with the ability to manage challenging behaviors from patients.
• Adaptability to follow directions and accept change.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Dependable and reliable with a good attendance record.
• Strong assessment skills and resourcefulness in emergency situations.
• Interest in continuing education and personal development.
• Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Team player who respects others and maintains confidentiality.

• Assist in the smooth transfer of patients for procedures and testing.
• Participate in the orientation and education of new staff as needed.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care are delivered consistently.
• Stay current with CPR and participate in ongoing education opportunities.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to communication efforts.
• Demonstrate safety-conscious behavior and report hazards promptly.
• Assist with direct patient care as needed and ensure timely response to call lights.
