Job Requirements

• Active California LPN/LVN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond calmly in urgent situations
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a resident-centered approach
• Comfort working in a dynamic healthcare environment that may include lifting, bending, walking, and extended periods of standing
• Willingness to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs as required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in collaboration with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team
• Perform individualized assessments and promptly report changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with facility procedures
• Complete thorough and timely documentation, including resident care, responses, and progress notes
• Carry out routine clinical tasks such as EKGs, blood draws, IV starts, specimen collection, and wound care support as assigned
• Support infection control, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the unit
• Assist with patient education, care coordination, and smooth handoffs between shifts
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and support resuscitation measures when needed
• Participate in staff education, orientation support, and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a respectful, dependable, and team-focused work culture
