About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial strategy and operations of one of its portfolio companies. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's transformation and scale, with a focus on both inorganic and organic growth. Responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all financial aspects of the business, from accounting to financial planning and analysis, and leading the integration of M&A activities. The role demands a passionate and committed leader with a strong background in distribution business models, particularly in the mid-market range. The CFO will be expected to honor the company's past while driving it into the future, in line with the investment thesis of the private equity sponsor. The ideal CFO for the company will have a tenure of over 20 years, with a proven track record of success in a similar role, and a background that includes experience as the top financial leader of a distribution business with a revenue range of $50mm-$300mm. A solid foundation in private equity and a requirement for M&A experience is essential. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, capable of leading the financial aspects of the business through a period of significant growth and change. The role is not just about financial management, but also about being a driving force in the company's evolution and preparing it for a planned exit within the next 5-7 years.
