Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 1 year of experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.Position: Cath Lab unit within a hospital settingShift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMCall: Overnight, weekend, and holiday call requiredCharting: Epic charting system requiredFloating: Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief unit orientation providedLicense: Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of considerationCertifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in hand at time of considerationExperience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience requiredEP experience a plusCharting: Epic charting experience requiredSkills: Skills in ACT monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, 12-lead EKG/ECG, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and vascular studies/proceduresProcedures: Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, and cardiac stent placementMedications: Experience administering and monitoring procedural sedation and related medications (antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, vasopressors, thrombolytics, reversal agents)Nursing Care: Provide nursing care within the Cath Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac proceduresDuties: Duties may include circulating procedures, monitoring procedural sedation, and managing vascular closure devicesTravelers: First-time travelers are welcome to applySeparation: Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a travelerRTO: No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientationResidency: Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted for this positionTravel Groups: Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
