The Facility is looking for a Locum Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for their inpatient needs!

Schedule:

• Start: ASAC!
• Shifts per month: 7-10
• Shift length: 24 hours
• Procedure/OR Days: OR access every day
• On Call: Yes, inpatient only (no clinic - hospital based)

Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes

Locum physicians will be on call for BOTH facilities

• Inpatient Ortho Trauma Call: required to be on 24-hour call from 7a-7a and must be within 30 minutes of the facility at all times when on call
• They will be on pager call for 24 hours and called in to see inpatient cases as needed
• Outreach: No
• Telehealth: No
• Job Responsibilities: Cover Ortho Traumas and same day add ons.
• Total joints = not a requirement
• Number of Physicians: 8 (combination of total joint, spine, hand, podiatry)
• Number of advanced Practice Providers: 8
• Supervision of APPs expected: No
• Nursing Support: nursing and APP support in OR
• Services offered in the practice: Any ortho traumas that come in (Trauma level III).
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: N/A
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 230-250
• EMR: Cerner
• Teaching Opportunity: No

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery - REQUIRED
• (Active IA and IL License); or (Active IA or IL license AND active IMLC); or (active IMLC) please upload LOQ at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Fellowship Trained in Orthopedics - REQUIRED
• Must be experienced - REQUIRED
• Provider must be willing to work on both locations,- please note at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice/Background - REQUIRED - please upload Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) at time of presentation
