Nutrition Services Specialist (Clerical/Technical)

Position Details Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 12 months per year. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Director, performs specialized, professional activities in the planning, arranging, documenting and ordering food items, and ensuring nutritional products and goods within the District’s central kitchen and at various school sites; receives, records and processes reduced meal eligibility program applications and requests for services; reviews applications for program compliance and determines eligibility; maintains a variety of records including invoices, delivery records and meal eligibility documents; prepares and sends letters of eligibility status, and details for financial State and federal reimbursement; performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Four (4) years increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance of records, development of reports and monitoring of fiscal data, information and records.
