Job Summary: The Billing Representative/Medical Receptionist is responsible for accurately entering and processing all third-party billing and coding charges in accordance with established policies and procedures while working under general supervision. This role also performs a variety of clerical, medical assistant, and administrative support functions to ensure efficient office operations and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by providing professional, courteous, and respectful interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff, while maintaining communication and interpersonal behaviors appropriate for a healthcare environment. Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Job Qualifications:

• Proficient in computer skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn billing and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong reading comprehension skills with the ability to understand, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, insurance representatives, and internal team members
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to review, process, and reconcile billing information while maintaining a high level of quality
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism

Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
