Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Production Supervisor Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Supervisor for a plastics manufacturing company in Maple Lake, MN. In this role, youll lead a production team, drive quality and safety standards, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. What Youll Do as a Production Supervisor: Lead and support a production team to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals Train and develop employees while promoting a positive and productive culture Monitor performance, reduce defects and scrap, and drive continuous improvement efforts Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide coverage for roles such as deck leads, molders, and trimmers Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Track production metrics and coordinate with scheduling and planning teams What You Need to Bring to the Production Supervisor Role: High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred 3+ years of manufacturing experience (plastics preferred) Prior leadership or supervisory experience required Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to read instructions, operate tools, and use measuring devices Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing/shop environment Reliable transportation to the Maple Lake area Benefits include Medical, Voluntary Dental & Vision, Life Insurance Employer Paid, Long Term Disability & Short Term Disability Employer Paid, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays, Annual Profit Sharing Bonus, 401K Retirement Plan with Employer Match, and additional voluntary benefits available through Unum Group.
