Busy, Fast-Paced, and COOL Law Firm looking for a Billing/Accounting Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review client invoices accurately and timely
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
- Ensure compliance with IOLTA (Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts) regulations when applicable
- Reconcile trust and general ledgers regularly
- Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and billing activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting or billing in a law firm environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting or Business Administration
- Understanding of IOLTA principles and trust accounting
