Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all general accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Actuals, Forecasting, and Budget Reporting.
Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial reports for corporate reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, COSO, lease accounting, and revenue recognition standards.
Monitor inventory valuation, production costs, and other manufacturing-related expenses.
Analyze excess and obsolete inventory (E&O) and recommend appropriate actions.
Prepare reports for tax authorities and support tax-related requirements.
Perform sustainability audit calculations and assist with audit activities.
Maintain finance system modules and ensure corporate reporting deadlines are met.
Provide backup support to the Controller and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
8-10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, COSO, inventory accounting, lease accounting, and revenue recognition.
Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience with ERP/financial systems is preferred.
