Direct message the job poster from Tatum by Randstad Senior Accounting Manager – PE-Backed Healthcare Group A rapidly growing $250M+ private equity-backed healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for strategic impact, process improvement, and leadership within a multi-location healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Manage the consolidation of financial statements across multiple locations. Maintain accounting processes, including purchase accounting, fixed assets, equity, goodwill, and intangibles. Prepare monthly journal entries for amortization, depreciation, and SG&A analysis. Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Support external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Assist with system implementation, particularly fixed asset systems. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ( CPA or CMA preferred ). 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, ophthalmology, or multi-location practice management . Strong technical accounting skills with experience in acquisition accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (index match, xlookup, vlookup, sumifs, etc.). Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively.
