Senior Accountant Farmington Hills, MI | Full-Time
The Big Task Thornton & Grooms is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our Controller and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This position will reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with month-end closing, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and provide backup support for payroll.

This position will reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with month-end closing, manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, and provide backup support for payroll.
What You'll Do
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close
- Process customer payments and deposits
- Participate in accounts receivable collections
- Process vendor invoices and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Research and explain budget variances
- Assist with job-cost analysis
- Support the Controller and other departments as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or comparable experience
- Three to five years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive company information with discretion and integrity
- Experience with ServiceTitan or accounting software is a plus
