Senior Corporate AccountantVenteon Finance is currently engaged on a Senior Corporate Accountant search for a growing manufacturing client located in the Detroit area.Requirements of the Senior Corporate Accountant RoleBachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA Designation preferred, not required5 - 7+ years of experienceConsolidation Accounting experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAPResponsibilities of the Senior Corporate AccountantLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation activities across legal entities and business units.Prepare, record, and review consolidation entries, entity-level entries, and intercompany eliminating entriesReconcile intercompany transactions and balances, investigate differences, and coordinate timely resolution with business unit finance teamsPrepare consolidated financial statements, management reports, supporting schedules, and financial reporting packages in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company reporting requirementsSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and complete corporate accounting deliverables according to the reporting calendarAssist the Corporate Controller with technical accounting research, internal controls, special projects, and finance process improvementsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting processesIf you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to apply to this job.
