Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Intensive Care Unit License: Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or compact license Certifications: Required AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIHSS, Red Cross certifications; Preferred PALS if working in pediatric unit Must-Have: Willingness to float to other units and facilities; availability for holidays and every other weekend Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a high-acuity medical intensive care unit. This unit focuses on complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must demonstrate a high level of professional competency. The nursing team collaborates with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Our team is committed to making the patient experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment. An associate degree in nursing is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty area. Two years of experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license.
