Senior Accountant
$35 - $40 per hourSoni Resources
Growing real estate organization seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and budgeting activities across a diverse portfolio of assets. This individual will work closely with finance and operational leadership to ensure accurate reporting and support key business initiatives.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support annual audits and preparation of supporting schedules
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to analyze financial performance
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Real estate industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working within an ERP system
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Multifamily, commercial real estate, property management, development, construction, or related real estate environments
- Experience supporting multiple entities, properties, or business units
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
