Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's mental health needs, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) to inform diagnoses and treatment plans.

• Develop individualized, culturally competent care plans that address the unique challenges faced by patients and their families, ensuring these plans focus on achievable, measurable outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment interventions based on individual needs and response to therapy.

• Document all treatment records, evaluations, and progress notes accurately and promptly using our electronic health record systems, in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with other health care providers and support services to ensure continuity of care, including coordinating referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.

• Provide group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to guide discussions and therapeutic exercises.

• Mentor and educate students, interns, and junior staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth within the facility.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care practices, providing peer review and clinical insight as directed by your clinical supervisor.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families affected by cancer. Our clinic serves a diverse patient base, which requires sensitivity to cultural differences, language barriers, and individual psychosocial needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
