Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Craig, CO where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The Certified Respiratory Therapist administers safe respiratory care as ordered, monitors mechanical ventilation, administers respiratory medications, performs patient assessment and documentation, and participates in teaching and training across patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, emergency, and critical care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Experience monitoring mechanical ventilation and administering respiratory medications.
• Ability to verify physician orders and maintain accurate documentation per department policy.
• Experience providing care across specialty areas such as Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a hospital setting.
• Previous experience with hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of blood work relevant to respiratory care.
• Demonstrated competency in respiratory care procedures per department policies.
