Pay: $17.50/hour


Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator with a minimum of one year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a propane forklift to manage inventory, stack bins, and load trucks efficiently. A strong attention to detail and basic math skills are crucial for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

Operate a propane double forklift, capable of stacking bins up to four at a time (2 wide and 2 height).

Conduct routine inspections of the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation. Load and unload trucks with pallets, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.

Manage inventory electronically, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in the warehouse. Demonstrate a quick learning ability for operating new machinery and adapting to changing priorities.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts, preferably propane-powered. Experience in handling almonds or similar agricultural products is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Basic math skills for inventory management and reporting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks. Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive tasks.

Comfortable working in warehouse and production environments with varying temperatures (including a hot production environment).

Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to machinery and potential allergens
