Interim Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to assist their team. This is a remote job, hours are based in the UK timezone. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $100.00 to $120.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain groupwide accounting policies that align with IFRS and support consistency across all entities.
• Standardize the chart of accounts and oversee monthly consolidation activities, including eliminations and foreign currency considerations.
• Improve the monthly close process with the goal of achieving a timely and streamlined close across all operating units.
• Address legacy accounting issues pragmatically while ensuring appropriate controls and documentation are maintained.
• Prepare the organization for external audit activities by completing acquisition related accounting, coordinating audit requests, and managing the audit process.

• Bring more than ten years of accounting experience, including work with SaaS based business models.
• Possess strong expertise in IFRS reporting, consolidation processes, and multi entity accounting structures.
• Have experience leading companies through initial external audits and managing audit partners effectively.
• Demonstrate hands on involvement in M&A integration activities and related financial processes.
• Work comfortably across multiple jurisdictions and manage accounting in environments with evolving data and limited structure.

• Preferably have experience within private equity backed SaaS companies or similar high growth environments.
• Bring a background as a group level financial leader, such as a former group controller.
• Hold prior experience in audit or transaction services before transitioning into operational finance roles.
• Offer familiarity with interim leadership roles or integration work within roll up strategies.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and guide teams across diverse cultures and locations while enforcing group level decisions.
