Commercial Lines Account Manager

$75,000 annually + benefits | 36-hour workweek About the position Lewis Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our independent, family-owned insurance agency in Tulare, California. This is not a sales position . The Commercial Lines Account Manager is the operational backbone of the commercial department, working alongside our producers to service existing accounts, manage renewals, maintain accurate records, and ensure client and policy needs are handled promptly and correctly. This is an in-office position with regular in-person participation required for staff collaboration and client meetings. Responsibilities Service and maintain commercial insurance accounts throughout the policy lifecycle Coordinate renewals and gather the information needed by producers and carriers Process policy changes and other routine service requests Maintain complete and accurate client, policy, and account information Document client, producer, and carrier communications Monitor open items and follow up with clients, producers, and carrier representatives Review account information for completeness and accuracy Help producers keep commercial accounts organized and moving forward Provide professional, responsive service to commercial clients Work collaboratively with the Lewis Insurance team to improve account-management processes Qualifications California Property and Casualty insurance license Three to five years of experience working in an independent insurance agency, preferably using AMS360. Strong understanding of commercial-lines policy servicing and renewal workflows Excellent organizational and time-management skills Accurate and thorough documentation habits Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow-up items Comfortable working with agency-management systems and other insurance technology Detail-oriented, precise, and committed to getting the work right Able to work independently while remaining an active part of the agency team Compensation and benefits $75,000 annual salary Medical benefits Paid time off 401(k) Professional-development support Half-day Fridays Schedule Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. About Lewis Insurance Lewis Insurance is an independent property and casualty insurance agency serving individuals and businesses throughout California.
