Account Manager - IndustrialMinneapolis, MNWho We AreWe are a company where people matter.We are family driven.We are financially strong.And we are looking for problem-solvers to join our growing team.BenefitsUp to 10% Retirement Contribution$600 per Year Wellness IncentiveFront Loaded Starting Paid Time OffMedical, Dental, and Vision - Eligible first day of the month following hire date.Account Manager - IndustrialThe Account Manager is responsible for driving growth through field-based sales efforts, developing and managing customer relationships while selling across Hydrite's full chemical portfolio, with a focus on distribution products and valued manufactured solutions for manufacturing and industrial customers.Primary responsibilities include:Own and grow a defined sales territory with a strong focus on new business development, account expansion, and sustained sales growth.Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans in partnership with sales leadership to achieve annual revenue, margin, and customer retention objectives.Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including new customer acquisition and increased penetration within existing accounts.Provide technical expertise and application support to customers and prospects, delivering hands-on service, troubleshooting, and solution-based recommendations.Design and implement customer programs that leverage Hydrite's manufacturing capabilities, distribution network, and financial strengths to create long-term value.Analyze sales performance, track historical data, prepare quarterly business summaries, and forecast annual volumes for customers within the territory.Prepare timely and accurate chemical treatment proposals, service documentation, call reports, and technical service requests.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect records in Salesforce CRM to support pipeline management and reporting.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including operations, purchasing, and supply chain, to ensure customer satisfaction and reliable product availability.Monitor competitive activity, respond effectively to market threats, negotiate pricing, and implement strategies to improve margins.Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to support customer relationships, on-site service, and business development efforts.Reporting StructureThis position reports to the Director of Sales.Preferred ExperienceCollege education and prior sales and/or technical experience preferred.5+ years of sales or related technical experience preferred.Ability to construct a business plan with Sales Manager assistance.Must have a valid driver's license and have an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.Must possess computer skills and be proficient at Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and job specific software.Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.Additional BenefitsBenefits and perks include 401k and profit sharing, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, legal services insurance, scholarship awards for children of employees, summer picnic, community giving events, free family wellness coaching including nutritionist and fitness coach.
