SkillBridge: Speech Recognition Researcher: TS/SCI Poly

Position Title SkillBridge Fellow – Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) – Columbia, MD Location & Role Type Onsite – Columbia, MD (BBN Technologies, RTX Corporation) Security Clearance Active DoD TS/SCI (with polygraph) required prior to start date. Responsibilities Research, develop, and implement novel algorithms to solve customer challenges related to Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). Develop software systems to train and test ASR models on customer data. Build new ASR models for customer data and domain. Interface with DoD clients supporting ASR research systems. Qualifications Eligible to participate in DoW SkillBridge. Active DoD TS/SCI clearance (with polygraph). Typically requires a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and 8 years of experience, or an MS degree with 5 years of experience. Proficient in Python programming and the Linux command line. Experience in machine learning and empirical research. Preferred Qualifications Bash programming. Hands‑on experience with speech‑recognition technologies. Experience with ESPnet. Experience with PyTorch. Knowledge of software development in Python.
