Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document client histories and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and confidential records.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adaptations to care plans to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to create holistic intervention strategies.
\n
• Assist clients in navigating referrals to additional services, when necessary, and offer supportive follow-up regarding their mental health.

• Identify and address barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to mitigate factors that adversely impact clients' progress.

• Educate and empower family members and caregivers, equipping them with the skills needed to support their loved ones effectively.

The clients served at Timeless Counseling Center come from various backgrounds and face a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Certification with a passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a strong capability to manage client cases effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients dealing with addiction disorders or co-occurring mental and physical health conditions.

• Familiarity with best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and current trends in psychotherapy.

• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects to better support clients during their treatment.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop strong rapport with clients and families.

• Empathy and interpersonal skills that foster trust and openness in therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
