The Green Cause is a youth-led environmental nonprofit dedicated to educating our future generations and platforming young environmental stewards & leaders. Through engaging educational workshops, community initiatives, and our chapter program, we empower youth and communities to take action in protecting our planet. Our mission is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and inspiring the next generation to lead sustainable lifestyles and create lasting impact.ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Environmental Education Team Lead oversees all educational content for the internal team and chapters. They help plan lesson curriculums, evaluate interactive activities, and manage the Educator Review Team submissions. Opportunities include professional development and networking with other educational institutions.RESPONSIBILITIES
Review member’s educational content Assist in lesson curriculum development Contact and onboard new members for the internal team and the Educators Review Team Check on educator review team submissions and interest forms Coordinate with educator reviewers to ensure their feedback is implemented Maintain the "Our Work" inventory & spreadsheet Participate in professional development opportunitiesOTHER DETAILS
