ASSEMBLY UTILITY - TECHNICIAN

This position is responsible for working with the department Supervisors and Leads to meet daily requirements and drive efficient line operations. The person in this position will: Follow standard work and train employees to follow standard work. Coach new technicians to improve skills. Work with team to eliminate, prevent, and resolve quality issues. Work with Carrier Excellence (Cx) team to drive initiatives and training in the department. Drive Carrier Excellence culture, tools, and competency across AC Drive the 5s program for AC Ensure deployment and sustainment of Cx fundamentals on the site (Excellence Boards, Tier Possess a sense of urgency and demonstrated initiative to help line performance daily. Maintain excellent attendance (less than 30 points).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

One-year length of service with Carrier Must be proficient in at least 5 workstations in the AC department. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Work history includes teamwork, versatility and flexibility. Ability to work well with others as well as independently. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willing to work overtime as needed. Knowledge of multiple lines; brazing; wiring, burst and run stand are desired qualifications.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
