Litigation Legal Secretary | Sacramento, CA
Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 annually ($38.47-$46.16/hr) DOE
Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote
LHH is recruiting an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a team of attorneys handling complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigation professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys handling complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation
Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence
Coordinate California state and federal court filings and e-filing
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, meetings, and travel
Maintain client, matter, and case files
Assist with billing and client invoicing
Coordinate document productions, exhibits, presentations, and meeting materials
Prioritize competing deadlines and proactively anticipate attorney needs
Qualifications
10+ years of litigation secretary experience in a law firm
Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing requirements
Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, PDF documents, iManage, and Aderant
Strong proofreading, document production, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
Multi-jurisdictional litigation experience is a plus
