Senior Transportation Engineer

Remote Status: Hybrid Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL, & Locations through Southeast U.S. Position Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager Key Responsibilities Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars. Design landside facilities such as roads, parking and utilities. Supervise designers and CADD technicians. Perform or lead civil design utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines under the direction of the Aviation Service Director. Manage construction projects as the owner’s representative. Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience and detailed knowledge of FAA standards. Senior positions are available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in design programs (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.). Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision with a focus on client service. Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
