Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with innovative technologies and tools designed to support both sports rehabilitation and general physical therapy needs. Work Environment

The work setting is entirely onsite, offering a vibrant and supportive atmosphere. As part of a close-knit team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will work collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives personalized attention and effective treatment. Our facility is particularly focused on providing care for active individuals, including athletes, which allows for a range of diverse cases that require specialized intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify needs and establish comprehensive care plans.
• Deliver personalized treatment for 2-3 patients per hour, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and recovery.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's unique goals and abilities.
• Educate and inspire patients to actively participate in their recovery process, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure all aspects of the patient's care are synchronized and effective.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adapt treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from athletes aiming to return to peak performance after an injury to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgery or chronic pain conditions. We place a high emphasis on evidence-based care that empowers patients to achieve their fullest potential without necessarily resorting to prescription medication or invasive procedures. This position involves closely monitoring patient progress and directly contributing to their rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required.
• Valid Physical Therapist license from the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to document and track patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care, particularly with athletic populations, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to create a positive and effective treatment experience for patients.
• Strong communication skills to ensure seamless interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
