Key Responsibilities

• Consult with healthcare professionals as needed, actively engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration to refine patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's individual assessment findings, adapting techniques as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and progress.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations that include thorough reviews of medical history, performance of standardized assessments, and the formulation of strategic treatment recommendations.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of each patient's care journey, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Facilitate proactive discharge planning by coordinating follow-up care and providing patients with essential resources and support post-therapy.
• Promote a culture of open communication with team members, patients, and their families, fostering an environment of trust and respect to enhance client satisfaction and engagement.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending facility meetings and participating in training sessions as directed by management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Tough Mind, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will address a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and facilitate rehabilitation through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education. Your compassionate approach will help nurture patient confidence and promote sustained improvements in their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida, along with current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
