The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person, North Carolina Pay: $25-$28 hourly Mission: To ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintenance of key accounts according to GAAP. What You'll Actually Do Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, strictly adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Bank Reconciliation: Perform thorough reconciliations of bank accounts to match internal records with bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly. Check Management: Take responsibility for identifying outdated checks, processing their voidance, and accurately recording the necessary accounting entries to maintain up-to-date financial records. Journal Entry Posting: Accurately and efficiently post a variety of journal entries into the accounting system, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly reflected. Prepaid Account Maintenance: Oversee the monthly maintenance, recording, and updating of all prepaid accounts, ensuring their balances are current and properly allocated over time.
