Litigation Paralegal

The firm is seeking a reliable, organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal and office support to attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking, multitasking, organization, time management, communication, and case management skills. The position requires someone who can work independently, follow directions carefully, manage multiple priorities, and consistently produce accurate, high-quality work. Primary Responsibilities: E-file documents with various courts. Draft litigation documents, including demand letters, complaints, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses. Draft and file administrative agency charges and responses, including matters involving the EEOC and IDHR. Review, organize, and index discovery documents. Manage case files and track matter activity and pending deadlines with minimal supervision. Calculate dates and calendar deadlines using firm case management systems. Conduct occasional legal research. Accurately and timely enter billing information into the firm's system, with an average billing requirement of approximately 25 hours per week. Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, staff, and other stakeholders. Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings. Apply creative and analytical thinking to resolve case and administrative challenges. Assist with training new hires as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in a litigation paralegal role required. Strong common sense, critical thinking, time management, organization, and teamwork skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow directions respectfully and accurately. Ability and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to work independently and effectively self-manage. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time-sensitive documents and deadlines. Paralegal certification preferred. Employment law experience is a plus. Supervisory or training experience strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
