Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Description: Position Details: This position is located onsite 4 days with one remote day (Friday). Processes invoices, check requests, and expense reports. Works as a liaison between buyers, vendors, Business Service Center and office personnel. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities: Assist in data entry of prepaid checks, matching checks with vendor invoices to be paid. May prepare expense invoices, payable checks and analyzes of vendors and accounts; respond to vendor inquiries in a timely, professional manner. May process deduction vouchers. May audit freight bills against freight manifests and receiving documents. May assist in monthly closing of ledgers. Print reports for management or other departments; maintain accurate records. Back up other accounting or administrative support staff, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications: 1+ years of experience in Accounting, accounting admin support or related area experience required. Must have MS- Suite and proficient usage of MS-Excel .
