Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting in-depth patient assessments to effectively evaluate physical conditions and functional abilities, using a series of diagnostic tools and performance tests.
• Developing and personalizing treatment plans that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and progress metrics.
• Administering hands-on therapy, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and home exercise routines to support recovery and maintain physical health.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving patient needs and outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses, to create a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Maintaining precise medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient safety.
• Staying informed with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices to incorporate new and effective techniques into therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement effective treatment interventions.
