Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing industry-standard assessments and tests to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor individualized therapy programs that may include hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to relieve pain and improve function.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of at-home exercises and self-care techniques to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and records of patient progress and responses to treatment, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to discuss patient care plans, share insights, and refine treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current and active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including internships or residencies, specifically in orthopedic settings.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and conditions, with a solid foundation in therapeutic modalities and pain management techniques.
