Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our dedicated Rehabilitation Center in Melbourne, Florida. Our facility features modern therapy rooms equipped for various therapeutic modalities, allowing you to perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic and comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and establish their treatment needs.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on improving patients' functional independence and mobility through tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver a wide range of therapies, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, utilizing appropriate modalities to effectively address physical impairments.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes in our electronic health record system, and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plans to optimize patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for home exercise and strategies for promoting ongoing physical health.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to integrate care approaches and ensure continuity of treatment for all patients.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with state and federal laws as well as professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will focus on an array of orthopedic conditions common among both adult and geriatric patients, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree such as a Master's or Doctorate from an accredited institution.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a detail-oriented approach in both patient care and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
