Litigation Legal Assistant/ParalegalLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Grosse Pointe, Michigan that is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support a busy attorney handling trucking litigation, including both first-party and third-party matters.This is an urgent hiring need for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and can effectively manage a high-volume caseload while providing exceptional administrative and litigation support.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive support to a busy litigation attorney.Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents.Handle state and federal e-filing and ensure compliance with court deadlines.Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings.Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts.Track deadlines, court dates, and case developments.Assist with discovery, document management, and trial preparation.Utilize Outlook and other technology tools to manage communications and workflow efficiently.QualificationsPrior experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Litigation Paralegal.Experience supporting attorneys in a high-volume litigation practice.Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and e-filing systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other legal technology platforms.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with trucking, transportation, insurance defense, personal injury, or general civil litigation is highly preferred.What Our Client OffersCompetitive salary of $55,000- $70,000 based on experience.Stable and busy litigation practice.Direct support role for a successful attorney with an active caseload.Professional and collaborative office environment.Opportunity to be an integral member of a growing litigation team.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply
