• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to specimen collection and sample preparation as required.
• Meticulously document every step of your work, assist in training new staff members or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Keep a safe and orderly working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
