Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests across various fields-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, train new staff or students, and ensure the lab meets quality standards.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
