Part-time Environmental Science Professor - Continuous Pool

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part‑time Environmental Science Professor. Applicants must be willing to teach during the summer in addition to other terms and both online and in person. The lecture rate is $95.60 and the lab rate is $81.66. This is a part‑time faculty position and is not eligible for employer‑sponsored benefits. This portion of the recruitment is ongoing and positions will be filled as program needs arise. Faculty Responsibilities Instruct classes in Environmental Science utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning. Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities at Clark College. Participate in program, curriculum development and assessment activities. Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques. Minimum Qualifications and Competencies Master's Degree or higher in Environmental Science or a closely related science field (with significant graduate coursework in environmental science). Teaching experience. Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. Background check required. Completion of academic degrees will be verified through official transcripts. A Vocational Certification plan must be in place prior to the first day of classes.
