Playwright Test Automation

Skilled Playwright Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Playwright, solid programming skills, and a passion for building reliable scalable test solutions within CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end E2E automated tests using Playwright. Automate functional regression and smoke test suites. Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.). Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios. Execute tests, analyze failures and report defects with detailed root‑cause analysis. Ensure test stability, maintainability and optimal execution time. Leverage Playwright features such as fixtures, parallel execution, tracing and reporting. Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with Playwright. Solid understanding of Test Automation frameworks and design patterns. Experience testing modern web applications with SPAs (React, Angular, Vue). Knowledge of HTML, CSS and DOM concepts. Familiarity with REST API testing. Experience with version control systems (Git). Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools. Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving skills. Preferred (Nice to have) Skills Experience with Cypress, Selenium or Puppeteer. Knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber, Gherkin). Exposure to performance or accessibility testing. Experience with containerization tools like Docker. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Prior experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Benefits & Compensation The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.48/hour – $50.74/hour.
