Senior Manager, Supply Chain

Senior Manager overseeing global clinical supply chain operations for investigational medicinal products across Gilead's clinical trials. Manages end-to-end supply strategies, demand forecasting, depot inventory, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, timely delivery of trial materials worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Interpret clinical protocols and translate into demand planning, supply strategy, and distribution plans
- Conduct demand and supply forecasting with 9-18 month planning horizons; develop clinical packaging execution plans
- Develop and implement depot seeding and clinical site resupply strategies aligned with trial timelines
- Manage inventory reconciliation, incident reporting, root cause investigation, and regulatory compliance documentation
- Author standard operating procedures and business process instructions; support regulatory filings and inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years industry experience, or Master's with 6+, or PhD/PharmD with 2+
- Strong knowledge of clinical supply management, forecasting, demand/supply planning, IVRS and ERP systems
- Experience with clinical study designs, blinding practices, and multi-phase global trials
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Strategic thinking with capacity to work effectively amid ambiguity and complexity
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with enterprise systems, spreadsheets, and rapid technology adoption
Compensation: Bay Area: $157,590–$203,940; Other US Locations: $143,225–$185,350 base
