Recruiter: Abby Chroniger | View email address on click.appcast.io | View phone number on click.appcast.io Compensation Base pay plus commission Monthly auto allowance Travel within assigned territory , minimal overnights Benefits Comprehensive Family Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance Support for Parents: up to a 14-week paid childbirth benefit Future Security: 401(k) retirement plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time Early Access: benefits start after 30 days of employment Responsibilities Develops and implements sales plans using Airgas’ sales initiatives and guidelines to obtain orders and establish new accounts Qualifies and connects with sales leads Nurtures customer relationships by developing a thorough understanding of customer business and establishing a consultative relationship Prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimating delivery dates based on knowledge of Airgas production and delivery schedules Keeps current with industry insights, Airgas product mixes, and stays informed of market trends by gathering marketplace intelligence on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques Collaborates with internal resources to accomplish success milestones; maintains clear communication with internal departments regarding customer successes and opportunities Maintains and submits sales reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses) as requested by District Manager through SAP Actively reviews and manages Accounts Receivable balances to protect Airgas working capital and support the reduction of financial risk Required Qualifications Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, minimum liability insurance as required by state Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Google Suites Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience with proven success in solution-selling and managing customers within a defined sales territory Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritize targeting highest-value customers Proven success using consultative sales approach providing multiple layers of value to a customer Proven success using deep knowledge of customer business, macro- and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and new business opportunities Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases or background in industrial gas & welding supply sales SAP experience preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years experience Equal Employment Opportunity Information We are an equal opportunity employer.
