Assistant Baseball Coach

Position Title: Assistant Baseball Coach Reporting: The Assistant Baseball Coach reports to the Head Coach and is responsible for building and running a competitive NCAA collegiate baseball program. Essential Functions Assists in planning and conducting daily practices, conditioning sessions, and skill development drills. Supports game‑day operations, including lineup preparation, in‑game strategy, and scouting reports. Helps identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student‑athletes. Monitors and supports student‑athletes’ academic progress and eligibility in coordination with academic advisors. Assists with team travel logistics, equipment management, and facility scheduling. Ensures compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies. Builds positive relationships with players, coaching staff, alumni, and the campus community. Supports film/video breakdown and the use of analytics to improve player and team performance. Assists with camps, clinics, and community outreach events. Required Qualifications Prior playing and/or coaching experience at the professional or collegiate level. Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategy, and rules. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of NCAA compliance regulations.
