Direct Care Worker

Job Description

Do you enjoy helping others and building meaningful relationships? Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll help individuals live more independently, reach their personal goals, and participate in their homes and communities. No two days are exactly the same!

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living, personal care, meals, shopping, and community activities
Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
Build positive relationships and provide companionship
Assist with medication administration after required training
Complete basic documentation and maintain a safe, comfortable environment

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license, insurance, and registration
Minimum 2 years of driving experience and acceptable driving record
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities
Medication Administration training
CPR/First Aid certification
Compassion and strong companionship skills
