Job Duties

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop personalized therapy approaches to aid them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and engagement in daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct individuals and their families on therapeutic methods to promote ongoing progress in their home environments.
• Track and Adjust Therapeutic Outcomes: Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
