Construction Estimator

Estimator, Commercial Construction. South Florida. Confidential clients.

J & J Talent Group recruits estimators, project managers, superintendents, and project engineers for commercial general contractors and self-perform specialty contractors across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade. We are taking applications now, ahead of estimator searches we expect to open this fall.

What our clients hire for

Commercial estimating at the lead level, not takeoff support. Hard bid and design-assist. Packages of $10M and up. Ground-up commercial, podium, high-rise, parking structures, and civil or industrial concrete. Quantity takeoff in Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff. HCSS HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, ProEst, or similar. Comfortable pricing self-perform scopes, carrying subs, and defending a number in a bid review. Field time before you moved into precon is a plus. Structural concrete experience (formwork, shoring, rebar, post-tension, elevated decks) is a plus for several of the searches we expect.

What happens after you apply

We read every application. If your background fits what our clients hire for, Juan or Jess will call you within a week to learn what you are bidding now, what would move you, and what you want to earn. We do not send your resume anywhere without talking to you first and getting your OK. When a search opens that fits, you hear about it before anyone else does, and we tell you the client's name before you decide.
